Shipping Policy
On the journey from my studio to your walls—here's what to expect along the way:
Shipping Costs Shipping is free on original canvas artwork over $500 CAD within Canada and the contiguous United States (48 states). For added peace of mind, every original painting requires a signature upon delivery and is shipped fully insured against loss or damage during transit to ensure it arrives safely. For collectors in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or anywhere outside the contiguous U.S., shipping is calculated at checkout using live UPS rates. Oversized artwork (generally 48" and larger) requires custom freight shipping to ensure it arrives safely. If you're interested in one of these pieces, simply reach out through the Let's Connect page and I'll arrange a personalized shipping quote. Shipping is always free on print orders.
International Orders Most original paintings can be purchased directly through checkout, with shipping calculated automatically based on your location. For oversized paintings that require freight shipping, I'll happily reserve the artwork for up to 48 hours while I obtain a shipping quote and prepare a custom checkout link. Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, customs fees, or local taxes. These charges are determined by your country's customs authority and are the responsibility of the collector.
Duties & Taxes International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes that are not included at checkout. If customs charges are refused and the shipment is returned to me, I'll refund the purchase price of the artwork once it has safely arrived back in my studio, less the original shipping costs and any return shipping or customs fees incurred.
Packaging Every original artwork is carefully packaged using premium, acid-free materials and protective padding to help ensure it arrives safely. Each original painting includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. >Original Canvas Paintings Shipped gallery wrapped and ready to hang unless otherwise requested. >Large Stretched Paintings (over 36" × 48") Shipped via custom freight for added protection. >Original Paintings on Unstretched Canvas Carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube, making them ideal for collectors who plan to stretch or frame the artwork locally. >Original Paintings on Paper Packaged flat whenever possible to minimize the risk of bending or warping. >Fine Art Prints Packaged and shipped according to my professional print partner's standards.
Processing & Delivery Times Because oil paintings need time to fully cure before they can be varnished and safely packaged, processing times vary depending on the artwork. >Completed Original Paintings Please allow 2–3 business days for processing before shipment. >Works in Progress Please allow 2–4 weeks before shipment. >Commissioned Artwork A timeline will be discussed during your consultation based on my current waitlist and the complexity of your piece. If additional time is ever required, I'll contact you as soon as possible with an updated estimate. Once shipped, delivery within Canada and the contiguous United States typically takes 5–10 business days, although carrier delays can occasionally occur, particularly when crossing boarders or during holiday periods. Need your artwork by a specific date? Please reach out before placing your order. Where possible, I will happily work with you; prioritizing your artwork and arranging for expedited shipping. Additional rush processing and shipping fees may apply.
Address Changes If you need to update your shipping address, please contact me within 24 hours of placing your order. Once an order has shipped, I'm no longer able to change the delivery address. If an incorrect shipping address is provided at checkout and the artwork is returned to me, any refund will be issued less the original shipping costs and any applicable return shipping or restocking fees.
